The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, ensure shelves are stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure proper pricing and validate product date codes for rotation. Stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
2. Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and the parking lot as directed by management.
4. Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds with approval.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies as part of basic bookkeeping duties.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and coworkers.
2. Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
3. Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group situations.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
5. Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently 45 pounds, and occasionally 60 pounds.
