Job summary

42North Dental in Kutztown, PA is seeking a Dentist to oversee the full patient care experience, from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care. In-office specialties include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, within a practice that welcomes a strong flow of new patients each month.

This part-time role follows a Saturday schedule from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, two Saturdays per month, with a daily rate of $750–$900 USD.

Qualifications

• Must hold current state license to practice dentistry
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination required
• Proof of malpractice insurance
• Current BLS or CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of oral cavity
• Maintain highest quality standard of care
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, and best practices
