Job summary

42 North Dental in Kutztown, PA is seeking a Dentist for a part-time schedule (two Saturdays per month, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM) with opportunities to impact patient care in a busy practice.

You will diagnose, treatment plan, and deliver care across the full clinical patient experience, with in-office specialists in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. Competitive benefits and continuing education are included.

Qualifications

• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
