Job summary

42North Dental in Lenhartsville, PA seeks a Dentist for a part-time role (two Saturdays per month, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM). You’ll manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment planning in a busy practice.

In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. Daily rate is $750–$900 USD, with benefits and continuing education opportunities for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current license to practice dentistry in the applicable state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain highest quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
