The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure proper pricing and product rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
2. Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards inside and outside the store, including the parking lot.
4. Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds as approved by management.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers, sharing current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles when requested.
8. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, record lost or damaged goods, and manage store supplies.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and coworkers.
2. Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, and memos.
3. Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
