The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure proper pricing and product rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishables for sale if needed.
2. Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot.
4. Operate cash register, handle payments, and process refunds as approved.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
8. Record lost or damaged goods and supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers.
2. Understand instructions, labels, pricing codes, tags, and memos.
3. Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
