The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated cases. May prepare perishable products for sale.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store as directed by management.
• Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and coworkers.
• Understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing, shelf tags, and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

• Basic PC/Outlook skills.
