The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success!

Stores count on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep the shelves fully stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
• Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, give change, process checks or card transactions, and handle refunds with management approval.
• Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping, record lost/damaged goods, and store supplies.

What You'll Bring

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and co-workers.
• Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, tags, and memos.
• Present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
• Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
