The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure proper pricing and product rotation, and stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
2. Set up advertising and promotional displays. Review invoices and bills for accuracy.
3. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed by management.
4. Operate a cash register, process payments, give change, and handle refunds with approval. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
5. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers, sharing current store and product information.
6. Assist customers with loading purchases into their vehicles upon request.
7. Perform basic bookkeeping duties, recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
2. Ability to understand simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
3. Effective communication skills for one-on-one and small group interactions.
4. Common sense understanding to follow detailed instructions.
5. Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
