The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment. Ensure correct pricing, check product date codes for rotation, stock shelves, displays, and refrigerated/frozen cases. Prepare perishable products for sale if needed.
2. Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store and parking lot as directed.
4. Operate a cash register, handle payments, and process refunds with management approval.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcohol.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers, sharing current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles upon request.
8. Record lost or damaged goods and store supplies as part of basic bookkeeping duties.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and co-workers.
2. Understand simple instructions, labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, and memos.
3. Present information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings.
4. Apply common sense to follow detailed but straightforward instructions.
5. Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
