The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is essential to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, maintain stock levels with fresh food, and ensure a great shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise, ensure proper pricing, check product dates, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable items for sale if needed.
• Set up promotional displays and review invoices for accuracy.
• Maintain sanitation standards inside and outside the store as directed.
• Operate cash registers, handle payments, and process refunds with approval.
• Verify customer eligibility for alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers courteously with current store and product information.
• Help load customer purchases into vehicles upon request.
• Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies accurately.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write English, interact with the public and coworkers.
• Understand instructions, product labels, pricing, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence and present information effectively.
• Apply common sense to follow detailed instructions.
• Lift up to 25 pounds regularly, 45 pounds frequently, and 60 pounds occasionally.

Preferred Skills
