Join our Store Operations Team as a Part-time Associate (Cashier)!

The Opportunity

The Part-Time Associate is the key to our success! Stores rely on Part-Time Associates to provide excellent customer service, keep shelves stocked with fresh food, and create a great shopping experience for our customers.

What You'll Do

1. Maintain assigned store sections, order, receive, and stock merchandise using proper equipment, ensure proper pricing, check product date codes, stock shelves, displays, and cases. Prepare perishable products for sale when needed.
2. Set up advertising and promotional displays, review invoices/bills for accuracy.
3. Maintain sanitation standards in all store areas and parking lot as directed.
4. Operate cash register, handle payments, make change, process refunds with approval.
5. Verify customer eligibility when selling alcoholic beverages.
6. Provide friendly, knowledgeable, courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
7. Assist customers with loading purchases into vehicles if requested.
8. Record lost/damaged goods and store supplies using appropriate tools.

What You'll Bring

1. Ability to read and write English, interact effectively with the public and coworkers.
2. Read and understand instructions, labels, pricing, shelf tags, memos.
3. Present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.
4. Follow detailed written or oral instructions using common sense.
5. Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.
