Job summary

BMO Financial Group in the United States is seeking a part-time Lobby Leader to welcome customers, guide them to digital and self-serve options, and help make banking fast and simple. This 20-hour-per-week role involves collaborating with branch teams to grow customer relationships beyond personal banking.

You will discuss banking services, provide personal banking and investment guidance, handle transactions, and contribute to branch results while maintaining risk and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Confident and experienced using social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools and applications.
• Experience in consultative customer service or sales roles with a focus on personal customer experience.
• Basic knowledge of specialized sales and business banking solutions to refer to specialists.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage customers effectively.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities that grow the customer relationship with BMO beyond personal banking.
• Welcomes and guides customers at the branch lobby and promotes digital/self-serve options for a fast, easy banking experience.
• Provides personal banking and investment guidance during client conversations and suggests alternative banking channels.
• Handles transactions and meets customer needs with seamless execution.
• Reviews customer profiles to identify opportunities and address everyday banking and credit card needs.
• Supports branch operations, risk/compliance, and overall customer experience.
