Job summary

BMO Financial Group in California seeks a part-time Lobby Leader in Retail Banking Sales & Service to deliver exceptional service to customers and prospects. You will guide customers, promote digital options, and partner with colleagues to meet branch goals.

The role emphasizes needs-based conversations, referral opportunities, and compliance with regulatory requirements while providing personal banking and investment guidance where appropriate. 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Typically between 1–2 years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study desirable or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Confident and experienced in the use of social media, tablets, smartphones, online tools, and applications.
• Some experience in a consultative customer service or sales role with a drive to deliver a personal customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and guides customers as they walk into the branch lobby, and offers advice on digital and self-serve options to make banking easy and fast.
• Identifies customer needs and provides advice and guidance regarding financial solutions that are in the best interests of customers.
• Collaborates with BMO partners to identify referral opportunities and grow the customer relationship beyond personal banking.
• Meets customer transaction-based needs with seamless execution and supports operational activities.
• Assists in risk and compliance processes to safeguard customers’ assets and protect privacy.
