GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY's YMCA-associated Gold-Rated Early Learning Center in Cincinnati is hiring an Assistant Teacher on a part-time basis. You will create a safe, nurturing environment and support children’s growth through hands-on activities, play, and guided learning.

You will work with a supportive team, follow licensing standards, maintain records, implement age-appropriate curriculum, ensure ratios, and engage families through communication and events.

Responsibilities

• Support daily classroom operation while meeting licensing standards.
• Maintain accurate classroom records and documentation.
• Assist with implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and routines.
• Ensure appropriate staff-to-child ratios are maintained at all times.
• Help manage and care for classroom materials, supplies, and resources.
• Create inclusive learning experiences using diverse, multicultural, anti-bias materials.
• Encourage active play and physical development through indoor and outdoor experiences.
• Help maintain a healthy, safe, and secure environment for all children.
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Foster curiosity, exploration, creativity, and positive play.
