Job summary

Dollar Tree in Cumming, GA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities and support the Store Manager in leading a team to deliver friendly, efficient service.

You will be responsible for opening and closing procedures, loss prevention, merchandising, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring a clean, safe shopping environment for customers and associates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on location.
• Retail or store-management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives, maintain fixtures and displays, and support loss prevention.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, payroll/scheduling, cash handling, and ensuring a clean, safe store.
