Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in McComb, MS to support daily store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with opening/closing procedures, merchandise organization, and loss prevention while ensuring a welcoming shopping environment.

Ideal candidates have strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to train and mentor associates, and the stamina to stand and lift up to 55 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or store management experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and maintain store records (payroll, scheduling, deposits).
• Maintain promotional displays and store cleanliness to company standards.
