Dollar Tree Stores in Picayune, MS is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with opening/closing, organize merchandise, train associates, and ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment while following company policies. This is a part-time role with growth opportunities and exposure to corporate directives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store activities and operations.
• Help customers with questions and concerns in a positive manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives including payroll, scheduling, and cash handling while ensuring compliance.
• Maintain store displays and fixtures to promotional standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and stockroom meeting company standards.
• Protect company assets, including store cash, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
