Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development in Picayune, MS. You will assist with daily store activities, merchandise handling, and payroll/scheduling tasks while maintaining safety and policy adherence.

The role emphasizes strong communication, teamwork, and hands-on leadership to ensure a positive shopping experience and efficient store performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, and cash handling processes.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Support Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
