Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Gautier, Mississippi to assist with store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help open and close, coach associates, and ensure inventories and merchandising meet company standards.

Role requires strong communication, ability to lift up to 55 lbs, and the flexibility to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a Full-time position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred and required to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks daily.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Support merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping and loss prevention.
• Ensure a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
