Job summary

Family Dollar in Cubero, NM is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, organize merchandise, and help supervise and train Store Associates.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Provide friendly customer service and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and record keeping.
• Maintain a clean, well-stocked store and secure assets.
