Job summary

Dollar Tree in Spruce Pine, NC is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with day-to-day activities and ensure the sales floor and stockroom stay organized.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to work in a fast-paced team. You will assist in opening/closing, processing directives, and training Store Associates while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions/concerns.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged items, and loss prevention.
• Open/close procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and promotional displays to company standards.
• Lead and train Store Associates and ensure policies are followed.
