Job summary

Lids is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Edinburgh, IN location. You will lead store operations, supervise staff, and deliver outstanding customer service while driving sales and ensuring brand standards.

You will schedule, train, and develop team members, handle daily store activities, and maintain product presentation while upholding loss prevention and store policies. This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic, fan-focused retailer.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on duty for scheduling issues or customer complaints when Store Manager is absent
• Manage store associates through LIDS training programs and goal setting
• Administer disciplinary steps including verbal and written warnings in the absence of the Store Manager
• Lead a respectful and inclusive team environment
• Schedule and staff the store, including handling unexpected peaks
• Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures
• Ensure compliance with company policies, inventory control, and cash handling
• Open and close the store following established procedures
• Protect Company assets and manage inventory counts and merchandising
• Execute product layouts, visual merchandising, and seasonal changes
