Job summary

Dollar Tree in Elyria, Ohio is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will help with daily functions, supervise associates, and ensure a welcoming, safe shopping environment.

The role requires strong communication, organizational skills and the ability to lift up to 55 lbs. Part-time schedule; you will assist the Store Manager and help maintain store standards and loyalty program execution.

Qualifications

• Retail/grocery management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize merchandise flow from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications related to activities.
• Maintain fixtures, displays and promotional materials for maximum effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record-keeping and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Follow safety policies and ensure associates comply.
