Job summary

Family Dollar LLC in Silver Springs, Nevada is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run store operations, deliver excellent customer service, and develop the team. You will support opening and closing procedures and ensure merchandise is well organized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred; ability to read, interpret, and explain operational directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical store duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Help organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and orderly stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies.
• Help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
