Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in Mount Pleasant, TX to support store operations, customer service, and team development.

You will assist with day‑to‑day store activities, supervise associates, ensure a safe, clean environment, manage merchandise flow, and help uphold company standards. This part‑time role values strong communication and reliability in a retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail/store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Exceptional customer service, organization and problem solving.
• Ability to read and interpret operational directives.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Assist in organizing merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional effectiveness of fixtures and displays.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked store areas per company standards.
• Protect and secure all company assets including cash.
• Help Store Manager supervise, train and develop store associates.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment.
