Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will help manage day-to-day activities, oversee merchandising, and assist in payroll and scheduling processes.

In this role you will open and close the store, supervise associates, and ensure a friendly, safe shopping environment. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience managing store operations in retail preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical duties.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Help organize, and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash handling).
