Job summary

Dollar Tree in Lancaster, PA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, help customers, organize merchandise, and participate in opening/closing procedures.

You will help supervise and train Store Associates, maintain a clean, well-stocked sales floor, and ensure policy compliance while delivering a positive, safe shopping experience for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment and provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery truck to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for store front.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure store assets including cash.
• Assist the Store Manager in supervising and developing Store Associates.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
