We’re looking for music and pop culture enthusiasts to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 at Ross Park Mall, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, ensuring fans can access their favorite merchandise. You’ll use your fandom knowledge to train new recruits, support daily operations, and help meet sales targets.

What You'll Do

• Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages repeat visits, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Step in and provide leadership support on the sales floor when needed.
• Open and close the store as required, handling keys responsibly.
• Process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and manage register closings while communicating shortages or overages to management.
• Understand sales plans, goals, and KPIs such as UPT and ADT.
• Assist with planogram updates, including store layout and merchandising.
• Share fashion and music trend insights with management and HQ partners.
• Work with Store Management to prevent theft and ensure store security.
• Maintain organized stock rooms and keep the store tidy.
• Support team development to foster a passionate and collaborative work environment.
• Perform other activities as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of retail experience, with a passion for music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and lift up to 50 pounds.
