We’re looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1, you’ll support the store leadership team in providing excellent customer service, training new recruits, and assisting with daily operations and sales targets.

What You'll Do

1. Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty through product knowledge and customer service skills.
2. Assist and support the sales floor and leadership team as needed.
3. Open and close the store, ensuring security and operational procedures are followed.
4. Process sales transactions, promote add-on sales, and communicate shortages or overages to management.
5. Understand sales goals and KPIs, such as UPT and ADT.
6. Assist with planogram updates and merchandising.
7. Share fashion and music trends with management and HQ.
8. Work with store management to prevent theft and ensure store security.
9. Maintain organized stock rooms and a tidy store environment.
10. Contribute to building a collaborative and passionate team.
11. Perform other duties as assigned by your Store Leader.

What You'll Need

• At least 1 year of retail experience, preferably with an interest in music and pop culture.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, and leadership skills.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products, and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds.
