Job summary

BoxLunch & Hot Topic is seeking a Part-Time Assistant Manager – Level 1 to join our store leadership team in Virginia. You’ll support daily operations, drive sales, train new hires, and ensure an outstanding customer experience for fellow fans.

You’ll open/close the store, manage the sales floor, and help achieve KPIs while nurturing a collaborative team culture and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of retail store experience.
• Strong communication, time management, professionalism, operations, and people development skills.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional shopping experience to encourage customer loyalty.
• Cover the sales floor and support store leadership when needed.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Process transactions and drive add-on sales with loyalty programs.
• Assist with planogram changes and merchandising setup.
• Communicate fashion and pop culture trends to management and HQ.
• Help prevent theft and maintain store security.
• Keep stock rooms organized and store tidy; support team coordination.
• Develop a collaborative, enthusiastic team to run the store.
