Job summary

North Lincoln Middle School is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director to support the athletic program, budgets, and operations. The role requires collaboration with the principal, county athletic leadership, and coaches to promote fair play and student success.

The position is temporary/part-time and involves coordinating schedules, coordinating with transportation, and ensuring compliance with district and NCHSAA policies. A North Carolina teaching license is required or eligible.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina teaching license in appropriate licensure area.
• Experience organizing and operating athletic programs preferred.
• Experience leading others and managing budgets for athletic programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the athletic director with program operations and budget oversight.
• Coordinate scheduling, tryouts, and equitable access for all sports.
• Support coaching staff, parent meetings, and eligibility processes.
• Ensure compliance with NCHSAA rules and district policies.
• Assist with transportation, facilities, and booster activities.
