Job summary

Global Dimensions, LLC seeks part-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters to support government and mission-focused environments. The role spans Washington, D.C., Maryland, and McLean, Virginia facilities, with assignments based on customer needs and security requirements.

The interpreter will provide high-quality interpreting, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate reliability, flexibility, and professionalism to ensure effective communication across diverse government settings.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• RID- and/or NIC certification required.
• Active SECRET security clearance is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional ASL interpreting services for government personnel and authorized individuals.
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and impartiality during assignments.
• Coordinate scheduling with supervisors and customer personnel for assigned engagements.
• Arrive prepared and on time for scheduled assignments; communicate conflicts promptly.
• Support interpreting in government facilities across the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and McLean, Virginia areas.
