Job summary

Global Dimensions, LLC seeks a part-time American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter to support government and mission-focused environments in the Washington, D.C. area. The role requires RID- and/or NIC certification and U.S.

citizenship, with assignments at government facilities across DC, Maryland, and McLean, VA. The interpreter will provide high-quality interpreting services, maintain professional standards, and adapt to varied environments while following security and confidentiality

Qualifications

• RID- and/or NIC certification required.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Active SECRET security clearance is a plus.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ASL interpreting.
• Ability to provide professional, accurate interpreting services.
• Strong communication and professional skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ASL interpreting services for government personnel and others in a professional manner.
• Facilitate clear communication between Deaf and hearing individuals.
• Support assignments at government facilities in DC, MD, and VA areas.
• Maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and impartiality.
• Coordinate with supervisors to support scheduling and assignments.
