Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a certified American Sign Language interpreter for a part-time contract role in a vibrant high school setting. You will provide interpreting services during after-school activities, including band sessions and football games, ensuring accessibility and inclusion for all students.

Qualifications

• Current certification as an ASL interpreter
• Experience working in a school or educational setting preferred
• Strong communication and professionalism in educational environments

Responsibilities

• Interpret for after-school band sessions Mondays and Tuesdays from 3:45-5:30 p.m., and Thursdays from 6-8:30 p.m.
• Provide interpreting services during high school football games as scheduled
• Facilitate clear and effective communication between students, staff, and others
• Collaborate with educators and program coordinators to understand event needs
• Maintain accurate records of interpreting assignments as required by the school
