Pay Range

$38.00/hr - $50.00/hr (based on skills and experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa during classes, meetings, and school events.
• Work closely with faculty to provide effective communication support for deaf or hard‑of‑hearing students.

• Collaborate with other school staff (e.g., TOT, SLP, Educational Audiology) to ensure seamless communication.
• Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in ASL interpretation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in ASL Interpreting or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Certification from RID.
• Completion of Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA).
• Strong communication and translation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
