Northwest Eye Surgeons, Inc. in Alaska seeks an experienced ASC Manager to lead our ambulatory surgery center on a part-time basis. The role offers autonomy, a supportive team environment, and opportunities to influence care delivery and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will oversee staffing, compliance, and performance improvements, while ensuring safe patient flow, documentation, and adherence to infection control and regulatory standards.

Formación

• Active RN license in Alaska
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong perioperative and operating room experience
• Proven ability to lead teams and implement strategy
• Comfortable making decisions and driving positive change
• 1 year OR/ASC experience preferred

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily operations across departments to ensure efficiency
• Lead strategic initiatives that improve performance and care delivery
• Oversee daily flow of the surgery center (staffing, supplies, sterilization, etc.)
• Maintain documentation of staff education, licensure, and vaccinations
• Analyze financial performance (P&L) to identify improvements
• Oversee project timelines and the completion of initiatives
• Identify process improvements to increase quality and reduce costs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align goals
• Handle patient calls, admissions, and discharges
• Ensure proper patient record management and infection control practices
• Support anesthesia and sterile technique protocols
• Provide education to patients and families about treatments
• Maintain knowledge of instrumentation setup and asepsis practices
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA/WISHA compliance
