Luna Data Solutions, Inc. in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced AS400 Developer/Admin for a long-term, part-time engagement. The role focuses on application maintenance, database administration, and system-level administration for the IBM i environment.

The candidate will work in a hybrid schedule, with local presence required and potential remote work options. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in AS400 development/support, strong RPG IV/RPGLE/CL/SQL skills, and experience with hosted AS400

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on AS400 (IBM i) development and support.
• Proficient in RPG IV, RPGLE, CL, and SQL on DB2 for i.
• Experience in hosted/managed AS400 environments and related infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and modify legacy RPG/CL code; troubleshoot issues and adapt logic to regulatory changes.
• Coordinate with hosting provider for OS patching, backups, and environment changes; manage security and audits.
• Query, tune, and manage DB2 for i databases; support secure file transfers and interfaces with partner systems.
• Document system flows, schemas, and assist migration/m modernization efforts.
