Job summary

Office of Management and Enterprise Services (OMES) in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced AS400 Developer/Admin for a long-term contract. The role focuses on legacy RPG/CL code maintenance, DB2 for i management, and coordinating with Ensono hosting for infrastructure tasks.

Qualifications

• Five+ years hands-on AS400 development and support.
• Proficiency in RPG IV, RPGLE, CL, and SQL on DB2 for i.
• Experience in hosted/managed AS400 environments with external hosting providers.
• Experience with IBM i work management, subsystems, and security.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize legacy RPG/CL code on the AS/400 platform.
• Act as the application administration liaison for hosting and OS/db utilities.
• Query, tune, and manage DB2 for i databases and data integration tasks.
• Assist modernization and migration efforts to cloud-based systems.
