Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC) invites applications for a part-time General Education Pathway instructor. Courses may be taught in-person at MATC campuses, at business and community sites, or online, with day, evening, and weekend availability.

Start is mid‑January 2027 for the spring semester. This is an applicant pool; assignments are temporary and vary by course availability and department need. All work must occur in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Must have a master’s degree in a Fine Arts discipline or a related field.
• Graduate coursework in Fine Arts is required for the second option.
• Standards of Teaching Excellence and MATC Career Essentials must be demonstrated.
• Experience with or willingness to learn online information management systems and course delivery tech.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and teaching-related activities.
• Manage the classroom/laboratory.
• Develop curriculum and monitor/ revise for effectiveness.
• Attend meetings and promote MATC programs.
• Maintain certification and stay current in the field.
