Job summary

Capella University invites adjunct and part-time faculty to join its Arts and Sciences education team. The role supports FlexPath and GuidedPath formats, delivering courses from a pre-designed curriculum with rolling enrollment.

You will provide feedback within 48 hours and engage with learners through the courseroom and email. Candidates should have a Master’s or higher in Art or related field and experience in academic evaluation, with willingness to travel occasionally within the US.

Qualifications

• All degrees must be conferred from a regionally accredited institution.
• Copies of required certificates and unofficial transcripts for all graduate degrees must be attached.
• Capella requires a Master's degree or higher in Art or related field or 18 graduate hours in related field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality instruction from a pre-designed curriculum.
• Be available within 48 hours by phone, email, and in the courseroom to support learners.
• Utilize the online learning platform to enrich the learning experience.
• Establish high standards and communicate evaluation criteria to learners.
• Attend faculty meetings, workshops, and training as required.
• Participate in activities based on university needs.
