Capella University seeks adjunct and part-time faculty to teach in the FlexPath and GuidedPath formats. Courses are offered on a rolling enrollment basis with competency-based evaluations and quick feedback cycles to support student success.

faculty will deliver instruction from a pre-designed curriculum, participate in training, and adhere to university policies. This role requires availability for on-site or remote engagements and occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of teaching experience preferred.
• Minimum two years for undergrad and three years for graduate level.
• Graduate level requires research/academic achievement; doctoral level requires research oversight experience.
• All degrees must be from regionally accredited institutions; attach transcripts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality instruction from pre-designed curriculum.
• Be available within 48 hours by phone, email, and in the courseroom to provide timely feedback.
• Use online learning platform to enrich the learning experience.
• Establish high standards and clarify evaluation methods to be understood.
• Attend faculty meetings, trainings, and other activities as required.
• Support university needs with various activities.
