Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer - Part Time Patrol for the Houston, TX area. The role involves patrolling retail locations, maintaining a visible security presence, and delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

The position requires an active Level III Armed Certification in Texas, a valid driver’s license, and suitable prior security or law enforcement experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement/corrections/military OR 5+ years armed security experience.
• Valid driver’s license per Allied Universal policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and disturbances with calm, professional problem-solving and coordinate with leadership and responders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols in retail areas, entrances, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Complete incident reports and daily logs maintaining professional presence.
