Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with additional on-call opportunities. You will patrol the site armed, respond to incidents, and support customer safety with professional service.

The position requires a Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma. It provides part-time hours with potential growth toward full-time, depending on scheduling and site needs.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Valid Texas Level III Armed Certification.
• Must be at least 21 years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and team members while following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the retail location including sales, receiving, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate personnel.
• Monitor access points and document incidents, unusual conditions, and policy violations.
