Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer - Armed Vehicle-Patrol in Washington, DC. You will serve clients across tech/telecom sites, conduct patrols, and respond to incidents with a people-first approach.

You must have an armed guard card/license and an active DoD Secret clearance. The role is part-time with a pay rate of $33.00 per hour, offering flexible shifts through our platform.

Qualifications

• At least 1+ year of security experience as required.
• Armed guard card/license required.
• Active DoD Secret clearance required.
• Handcuffing certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screen as per law.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and follow site policies and emergency procedures.
• Carry and maintain firearm and related equipment per policy and law.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with responders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access control, alarms and video systems; verify credentials.
