Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Armed Rover Patrol in Washington, DC for a part-time role. You will perform armed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to calls for service at a government location. Qualifications

• Armed security experience required or related field.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification preferred.
• Possess or be eligible for a firearms permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by following post orders and procedures.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and related equipment in accordance with policies and licensing.
• Respond to incidents calmly and coordinate with public agencies and responders.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of facilities, platforms, entrances and perimeter areas.
• Control access points, monitor alarms and surveillance systems, and complete incident reports.
