Job summary

Allied Universal in Manassas, VA is hiring a Security Officer – Armed Patrol Enhanced Part Time Clearance Required. This role offers reliable hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts via our scheduling platform.

The position requires an armed guard card or license and an active DoD Secret Clearance, with a fixed shift of 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays and Saturdays. Pay rate is $27.31 per hour.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license required.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as required by law.
• Drug screen where permitted by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a technology and telecommunications site.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of buildings, data infrastructure, parking, access points and perimeter.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency responders when needed.
• Prepare incident reports and patrol logs per site requirements.
