DK Security is hiring a Part-Time Armed Security Officer to protect a Northern Michigan military base. Based in Alpena, MI, you will work on a team to control access, conduct patrols, and respond to emergencies.

Requirements include must be 21+, valid CPL, HS diploma or GED, pass drug screening, and no felonies. We offer paid sick time and training, plus CPL licensure reimbursement. This is a first-shift/second/third shift role.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Current Michigan CPL required.
• Pass drug screening at hire and random thereafter.
• No felony convictions; able to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Protect the site’s building, grounds, assets, employees, tenants and visitors.
• Control access at entry/exit points; perform vehicle patrols.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and respond to incidents.
• Coordinate with team to ensure a secure environment.
• Report security incidents to management and clients.
