Job summary

DK Security, Inc is hiring an Armed Security Officer at a Northern Michigan military base in Alpena. The role involves securing facilities, controlling access, conducting foot and vehicle patrols, and monitoring CCTV to ensure safety.

A Michigan CPL is required, along with a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to pass drug screening and background checks. Compensation is $20.00 per hour, with full-time and part-time shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old or older with high school diploma or GED.
• Must possess a current, valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License (CPL).
• Must pass a drug screening at hire and random testing thereafter, including marijuana, per federal law.
• No felony convictions and able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Armed Security Officers protect the site’s building, grounds, assets, employees, tenants and visitors.
• Control access at entry/exit points and perform vehicle patrols around the grounds.
• Maintain customer relations and provide excellent service to clients and visitors.
• Monitor CCTV and respond to emergencies.
• Enforce site post guidelines and ensure a safe environment.
