Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Security Officer Field Patrol on a part-time basis in Austin, TX. Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or 5+ years of armed security experience.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements as per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and professionally; notify appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Maintain an authorized firearm and other assigned equipment per laws and company policies.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities; communicate information to site management and responding personnel.
